"A bold new direction for the Visions series begins with Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi, the first project in the Presents line, which allows creators to expand upon the shorts originally produced for the anthology show. Under the supervision of Kenji Kamiyama and with animation by sci-fi legends Production I.G, The Ninth Jedi offers a familiar and safe expansion that remains engrossing throughout its eight-episode run.

We pick up where 'Child of Hope' left off: Lah Kara and the rest of the masterless Jedi, Juro and Homen, are on the run as General Nawaam's army, led by the Sith Gennoh, pursues them. Juro is determined to restore the Jedi Order and rally new allies to stand against Nawaam, all while seeking to rescue Lah Kara's father, Lah Zhima, who is far more than a mere sabersmith.

The Ninth Jedi seamlessly continues the narrative... exploring this Jedi-less and Sith-less world, and how the Force is defined in this new age. The stakes are astronomical right out of the gate — Kara and her friends must establish a new Jedi Order... It's pure, unadulterated Star Wars."

The new eight-episode animated miniseries expands on the concept of dynamic, colorless Kyber crystals that react and change hue depending on the Force connection and emotional state of their wielder.

Production I.G’s fluid combat animation showcases intricate saber duels that push past live-action physical limits, delivering a fresh take on the franchise.
